Collage as well as drawing are the earliest art forms I remember to have ever experienced making; since childhood, the act of finding, cutting and gluing together a random assortment of images in order to construct a narrative has always served my desire to communicate my thoughts, allowing me at the same time the freedom to let my brain explore, improvise, and feed from details, images and ideas like no other medium has been able to do. The selection of collages you see here today are some of my most recent work. The particularity of these works is that they are deeply connected with experiences I have had in these last three years. This specific period of time has been punctuated by different deeply personal crisis that have affected me and some of those around me in many different ways. In synthesis, these collages are my once cry for help, my disappointments, my difficult decisions and my mistakes, but also, they have been my relief and each one of them are that tangible thought when I was lost for words.
